Dr Nanjapa gives his time freely to help our children. About once a month Dr Nanjapa visits all three homes to ensure the girls and boys vaccination programme is up to date as well as monitoring the health of the children. At any one time he is providing treatment for around 30 of the children and keeps in regular touch through calls to Malarjayrani, one of our house mothers with special training in health care. Dr Nanjapa is a busy man, working with the UN and playing an active role in child protection through an organisation in Chennai; so the time he gives us is extra precious. His family are also committed to helping us and regularly accompany him when he visits.
