Leaving a Lasting Gift

Have you ever considered leaving a gift in your will to Goodwill Children’s Homes? An exceptional way, in which many friends have assisted us, is through leaving a lasting gift in their will. An inheritance left to Goodwill Children’s Homes becomes a living memorial. Such a consideration could give us the chance to continue with our valuable services at the Goodwill villages in India and will allow for more destitute children to be educated and cared for.

Making a legacy is, of course, an entirely private matter. However, if you do decide to leave Goodwill Children’s Homes a bequest, we would be grateful if you could let us know.

We know that leaving a legacy gift is an important decision but it doesn’t have to be complicated. We recommend using a solicitor or a professional will writer to make your will legal and void.  If you have already made a will, a bequest to Goodwill Children’s Homes can be easily added by means of a codicil. Your solicitor can help you with this. If you need any further information, please contact the Administrator.

Remember, your kind gesture will live on in the lives of the many children who will then enjoy a secure future.

Legacy gifts from people like you are crucial to our future work. It's easy to leave a legacy, helping us be there for children trapped in poverty, well beyond your lifetime.
A gift in your Will, however small or large, is a wonderful way to ensure that your faith, love, and compassion live on and help future generations.  â€‹

Leaving a legacy to Goodwill is now easier than you think

Making a will is essential to forward planning to ensure your wishes are carried out after your death.

agreement with The Goodwill Partnership. This Partnership was launched in 2009 to offer low-cost, home-visit will-writing services for charities’ donors.  Our relationship with the Goodwill Partnership will help us to offer home-visit, solicitor-written wills to our supporters and volunteers who wish to leave us a legacy if they so desire. Leaving a lasting gift in your will, no matter how small, will make an immense difference to our work in Southern India and will enable us to accommodate more destitute children. We are hoping that this Will-Writing Service will encourage Goodwill supporters who do not yet have a will, to obtain one in the comfort and convenience of their own homes.
